My project - “Co-house Link” - delves into the innovative concept of “co-housing,” addressing critical issues like social isolation and the housing crisis through enriched intergenerational interactions. Integrating insights from neuroscience, psychology, sociology and UX/UI design, my research underscores the significant benefits of successful exchanges between age groups—from cognitive enhancement in the elderly to social skill development in youth. This interdisciplinary journey culminates in the design of the first-ever co-housing software tailored for co-housing communities, aiming to revolutionise co-housing arrangements by fostering robust intergenerational connections and nurturing a vibrant, supportive living environment.
