Summary
Living in the digital world, and particularly in a busy city, means that we often find ourselves scrolling through social media rather than being outside. My project explores the relationship between social media, stress, and connection to nature. Beginning with my own experience and validated through my research, I have discovered the numerous benefits of spending time in nature to improve our mental and physical wellbeing. My project aims to create a digital platform that unites these two worlds by using the engaging power of social media to encourage outdoor activity, thus reaping the healing benefits of nature and mitigating the effects of stress caused by our modern world.

About me
My name is Tatiana Pokorny, and I go by Tati. I am from Guatemala and came to London to study at LIS. I am deeply passionate about nature, art and animals, and aim to use my creative pursuits to make a positive impact on the environment. I truly believe that it is essential to our wellbeing to spend more time in nature and reconnect with our roots. In my free time, I like to create art, go to the park, and practice yoga. I am also interested in philosophy and psychology, particularly Jungian psychology.
